I was inspired to become a hairstylist by my sister, who is an amazing colorist and stylist. I remember spending time in her salon as a teenager being taught that hair styling is more than a skill but an art form through which I can express my passion and creativity while connecting with people.
I've been a licensed hair stylist for fifteen years. I came to San Francisco 12 years ago to build my skills by working at one of the top salons, 77 Maiden Lane, where I was mentored by many talented stylists and colorists. While I was there, I discovered my affinity for high-fashion and wedding hair styles. I built on my skills by taking advanced training in color and cutting.
After working in the City for 8 years, I spent 3 years traveling, studying, and working in Europe and the Mediterranean. During this time, I worked specifically with one of Europe's most prestigious salons, Udo Walz, in Berlin and Spain doing high fashion hair for television and theatre.
